Kiger Trinket was one of the original 10 horses registered in the Kiger breed. She was a pack horse in the Snake River Canyon area and a broodmare for many years. Trinket herself has never seen a show ring but has safely brought loads and passengers through rough country for years. She has been used to move cattle in the rugged Siskiyous, and has also been chosen twice to represent the Kiger breed at the Albany Horse Expo and Western States Horse Expo in Sacramento.

Kiger Trinket has a kind eye and graceful arching neck. She is famous for her hip which she throws every time. Many great useable Kigers can be traced back to her, such as El Silverado Mistico de Applegate, winner of countless championships, four horseshoe awards, three medallions, and the Ron Harding Perpetual Trophy. She also had Acero an up and coming mountain ranch horse and reserve Grand Champion at Kigerfest 2004. Her foals tend to be more on the compact thicker build with heights from 14.3 to 16.0.
